The Thermo Scientific Tissue Processor Model STP420 is a highly efficient, microprocessor-controlled instrument that automatically prepares tissue samples for laboratory testing, by fixing, dehydrating, cleaning and infiltrating them with kerosene. In this way, tissue preparations have a long shelf life.
This unit is capable of processing 420 tissue cassettes in a single day, with a touch-screen display.
